From proudly donning slogans like "I am queer, that's ok" to representing the importance of visibility with "చూడండి స్వామి ఇట్లనే ఉండటం", I used my voice and my presence to stand up not just for LGBTQ+ rights, but for all marginalized communities. With each step, each free hug, and each wave to the onlookers, I felt the power of unity and solidarity. From advocating for justice in Gaza and Kashmir, to addressing violence in Manipur and caste discrimination, the importance of pushing for gay rights, trans rights, and human rights resonated deeply within me. The Pride walk wasn't just a celebration of who we are, but a reminder of the work that still needs to be done.
