I trained and qualified to teach maths - complicated concepts, figuring out the best way to explain something, seeing that moment of joyful understanding sweep across a learner’s face…

But it turned out I didn’t love teaching teens…..and they apparently weren’t all that fond of me either (massive understatement!)

So I turned my attention to grownups, and realised that teaching people who chose to learn the subject was a lot more rewarding (also an understatement)

Then I had children, and ran into some health issues, so I took some time out of work.

But one day... a local friend introduced me to email marketing automation tech, because she knew it would appeal to my systems-loving, efficiency-craving, analytical mind.

I was hooked (that was the last massive understatement, I promise), which led to founding Slick Business to help business get more ROI from Email & Automation.

Quickly following, I become a Certified ActiveCampaign Consultant, founded our Slick Business Academy of Email & Automation, and evolved into a sort of global hero for small businesses sending email and automating the repetitive boring things (for real!). I've even served as an advisor, influencing the big tech tools themselves to make things work even better for users.

Go figure! Life takes us in unexpectedly wonderful directions, and I’m SO here for it as the CEO of Slick Business, and lead teacher, mentor and consultant for the Slick Business Academy
