The two sisters are part of a big family with over 10 children in it. However, their father did his best to take care of them.

This one has to be the most unusual. However, by now you must know that Thahane is very much connected with prominent political figures. She was even accused of using one of her family members in the government to get a bursary to study abroad. So, it shouldn't come as a surprise that she's actually the late Archbishop Desmond Tutu's grandchild. She didn't grow up much around him, however, she did say she spent at least two years with him in her 11th and final school year in cape town.
