This year, the theme for International Day of Yoga is “Yoga for Humanity.” This theme was decided considering the importance of yoga and how it benefited the masses in keeping safe and healthy during the outbreak of coronavirus. Also on the occasion of International Yoga day Prime Minister Narendra Modi is celebrating the day in Mysore, Karnataka. He said people are celebrating Yoga day around the world, and are respecting Indian culture. He gave a speech for 45 mins and spoke about the health benefits of Yoga.

Even President Ram Nath Kovind was also present. Also several other politicians and celebrities were seen performing yoga, and influencing others to do the same. Not just that, the whole world is seen celebrating this important day with equal importance, in China more than 200 people have been gathered to perform yoga.

In Italy Woman wearing traditional Indian outit were seen singing a sanskrit song on the occasion of International Yoga day. A Lot of other countries including the USA, UK, Canada and Australia were also seen all excited about the event in the previous years, they might have some great plans ahead too.
