This gimbal is suitable for aerial mapping. The gimbal keeps the camera pointing straight down to enable the capture of photo that can be aligned easier and more effectively during processing. This minimizes errors and creates a better data set. It will connect direct to either Pixhawk, APM or DJI controllers. This is suitable for Sony NEX / A series cameras. Other cameras can be used but the gimbal may need some alteration. We can also custom design to suit your needs.
We use this system on our Mapping Fixed Wing and VTOL UAV's and it is outstanding. It make a massive difference to the quality of the data we collect and eventually output to clients.
