Ai is pretty lame but there's one silver lining for artists

Описание: Ai is pretty lame, but it's here, so I'm trying to find the positives...

For example, If I spend countless hours writing a script and developing a story for an anime, now I don't need to pay an entire crew of people 100's of thousands of dollars to draw every single frame.

I can make it fairly inexpensively with a couple of my friends and we can have a boat load of fun doing it.

All of those people who spent time becoming great graphic designers and cinematographers and developing other niche collaborative skills can now use their style and knowledge to take charge on their OWN projects. They don't need to adhere, or obey, or compromise their own vision. They can work how they want to work, on projects they want to make. And the best of the best will still rise to the top, but now, they can do it without the luck/power of collaborating with a major studio and it's budget.

And cheaper doesn't always mean cheaper. People praise 'the blair witch project' for being made by some passionate artists with a super restrictive budget. It's still going to take meticulous detailed effort and vision to create something amazing. Great art will never be as simple as a few mindless prompts. All that's really happening is that the little guys have a chance to compete with the giants. And the giants are scared.

(It's definitely not all good: Big projects with hundreds of people is really awesome and something I have dreamed to be apart of, which is unfortunate that it probably isn't going to be a thing for much longer :( This is one thing that has made movies such a valuable art form in the past. The simple fact that it took 100's of people to make it happen, made it something to be cherished. This is what will die as a result and my biggest con by far.
But collaboration, artistry, and strong meticulous vision/ideas, those things are the fundamentals, they can't die. Creators can't die.
And the simple act of painting on canvas or writing or playing an instrument--going through that creative process-- that will always be just as healing and transformative. That can't be stolen either.)
