Описание: Hello friends, a long time ago when I uploaded the video of the Rio Pedras waterfalls (A Pobra del Caramiñal), many of you told me that it would be good to go in winter and I also had to show you the beautiful medieval bridge of A Misarela.
Well I had to go back :)
I loaded the backpack with a thermos of hot coffee, water and something to eat and I brought my best boots (the area is VERY dangerous, there is a lot of humidity and moss and the rocks are very slippery).
The environment is beautiful, the landscape changes 100% with winter, there are pathss that are flooded with water and sometimes it is necessary to improvise to be able to pass.
The bridge that you see is believed to be part of the Roman road that crossed the Barbanza from Boiro to Porto do Son, it is the Misarela bridge and gave access to the monastery of San Juan de A Miserela, of which only its walls and some ashlars remain.
You can also see the inscriptions on the rocks of the path in the form of crosses.
If you intend to get closer at this time, I recommend good footwear and, above all, be very careful if you step on roots or rocks, it slips a lot and access to the area is very complicated (you can already see it on a sign at the beginning of the route).
