INGREDIENTS:
1 lb./ 500 g sweet potato
1/4 c honey
1 tsp soy sauce
1 tsp black sesame seeds
salt
DIRECTIONS:
First cut the sweet potatoes into bite-sized pieces. Peel off the skin off the potatoes. Put the potatoes in water to remove excess starch. After 10 minutes, quickly wash and drain the potatoes and pat dry. Deep fry the potatoes in hot oil (170C/325F) until golden brown and crispy. Drain on paper towel and set aside.
To make the sauce, combine honey, soy sauce and just a pinch of salt. Mix the sauce together with the potatoes. Sprinkle with black sesame seeds and enjoy!
