38+P Remington Ultimate Defense Ballistic Gel Test GP100

Описание: Testing the Remington Ultimate Defense 125gr +P load out of the four inch barrel Ruger GP100, shot thru four layers of denim per IWBA and FBI heavy clothing protocol into calibrated ballistic gel.

The round did pretty well considering it did not achieve full expansion of all petals. The round penetrated 15 inches and tumbled before stopping, weight retention was spot on. Velocity was 922 FPS (five shot average) Remington has this rated out of a four inch barrel at 975, so we were pretty far off advertised velocity.
