We are back at the Short Rally van Kasterlee! We have the habit to visit this event every 2 years.
After a quick walk through the service area, we bought the rally programme at the rally center, where we saw that this year there are 2 service areas: the one near the rally center, and a 2nd one at the end of the second stage. Due to the corn fields that are more numerous year after year, the main service area isn't that big. (Also the spectator area on the first stage is not accessible due to corn)
We then drove down the stages to see where there is no corn, so where we can spectate tomorrow, after which we went to the 2nd service zone to finish my video. Funnily we were spotted and signaled for illegal recce because we don't have a number on the car and we were out of the recce window! But it's a good thing, regarding nuisance to local residents and fair play, that this is monitored well, for the future of the rally!
We found 2 locations with a decent view at both stages, to record a video in all 4 rounds tomorrow. So see you then on the stages!
