As per the latest news on Mirror Now, the father of the 17-year-old girl who died by suicide in Thanjavur has now filed a caveat petition before the Supreme Court. The Tamil Nadu government is likely to move the Supreme Court on the order passed by the Madras High Court to transfer the Thanjavur suicide case to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). Earlier Madras High Court had issued observations on the Tamil Nadu Police's approach to the investigation in the Lavanya matter including the possible impression by the Tamil Nadu police of the conversion angle and now shockingly Tamil Nadu government will be appealing against that particular order by Madras High Court.
