Tips for Planting Spring-Blooming Flower Bulbs in Containers

It’s easy! Here are the steps:

🌷 Choose a 12-inch wide by 12-inch deep pot with drainage holes.
🌷 Get a well-draining potting mix. We recommend an indoor potting mix with added perlite — two scoops of soil per one scoop of perlite.
🌷 Plan for one variety of flower bulb for maximum impact.
🌷 When your pot is half full, add bulb food to help your bulbs root in.
🌷 If you’re planting tulip bulbs, plant them with the pointy end up, approximately 1” from the edge of the pot, and spaced a half inch apart.
🌷 Fill your pot the rest of the way and add some more bulb food.
🌷 Plant winter pansies on top for instant impact!

Be sure to water everything in well, protect your pot by placing it under a covered area, and check for moisture levels monthly — you want the soil to stay moist but not soggy.
