So I decided to spend a full day exploring Islamabad to find out for myself!

We started in I-8 with a proper desi breakfast at Jhal Chakian Ki Mashoor Daal 🍛 simple but so delicious. After that, we made our way to the magnificent Faisal Mosque 🕌 which is one of the most iconic landmarks of Pakistan, with its unique tent-inspired design.

From there, we drove up the Margalla Hills to Dino Valley 🦖 — and honestly? It was way more fun than expected! From dancing dinosaurs (yes, the viral ones 😭) to cable car rides, sunset viewpoints, and wholesome character performances — the vibes were actually so good.

Ended the day watching the sun set over the capital, and I think I finally have my answer…

Is Islamabad really boring?
