What Would You Wear Speculative Design Project: Part 2 (The Forecast)

Описание: Hi! My name is Anchita and I’m a design student in Kingston School of Art. And welcome to the What Would You Wear: Speculative Design Project.
In Part 1, we looked at some of the existing issues caused by fashion’s current trend evolution cycle, before we set out to imagine a world completely devoid of it.
Today, we are venturing away from the present day and trying to peer into what an ideal future looks like for sustainable fashion enthusiasts and activists trying to combat the harmful effects of the fashion industry’s rapidly changing system of trends. We do this in the form of a “forecast” so it’s easier for us to visualize.
And as we can see, without a discernible set of trends or rules governing fashion, things start to get a little bit absurd… and also a little bit magical.
