This week I’m back with part two of my Friday video essay that premiered two weeks ago. Today, we’re taking the political and gender analysis I did of the first Friday the 13th film and applying it to the broader Friday series and the character of Jason Voorhees.
I’ve always been a huge fan of Jason and of these movies, and I’m happy I could try to shine some light on their more interesting subtext and deeper value in this video.
