A custom build of a MIDI FM Synth using an (in)famous OPL2 chip from Yamaha, the YM3812. Currently in the beginning phase of programming. HW seems to be just fine (no bodges so far).
System based on 80C32 MCU, external ROM (64K), RAM (32K), EEPROM (2K), with a HD44780/compatible LCD as one of the peripherals on the bus.
