The CBI enquiry in the death of Jishnu Pranoy, 2nd-year student of Nehru College of Engineering in Pambady concludes that the boy had committed suicide owing to the pressure and torture from the college authorities. He was found hanging in his hostel room. The investigation team has also booked College Principal Shaktivel and manager Praveen is booked for abetting suicide. The college chairman P Krishnadas has received a clean chit in the case.
