The Musée Aéronautique Presqu'Île Côte d'Amour (MAPICA) is a private aeronautical museum founded in 1980. It is located at La Baule-Escoublac aerodrome (Loire-Atlantique) in France. The Presqu'île Côte d'Amour Aeronautical Museum, formerly known as "Les Ailes Anciennes La Baule", is an association affiliated with the Federation of Ancient Wings. Since the early 1980s, it has been restoring historic aircraft, mainly French, to flight status. Thirty volunteers work in rotation to restore the planes: carpenters, mechanics and even a hydraulic engineer, specialist in fluid mechanics. Restoring an aircraft takes five to six years and requires 6,000 to 7,000 hours of work. The museum, located in a hangar, is freely accessible. A free guided tour by a member of the association is possible. Each summer, the association organizes an “open house” weekend to allow a large audience to discover their work and planes.
