The Chicago Symphony Orchestra performs Dmitri Shostakovich’s Symphony No. 5 in D minor, Op. 47 on February 9th, 1985. Leonard Slatkin conducts. Norman Pellegrini’s voice is heard at the end of the video.
Pleased to have found another apparently lost @leonard_slatkin(@LeonardSlatkin-j4s) recording - this time with the Chicago Symphony.

This was recorded live off the radio by Mr. Marchant’s daughter. Unfortunately it was recorded pretty quietly. Symphony No. 5 has some amazing dynamics but the really quiet parts are a bit lost here. I used Waves MV2 for some light upwards compression to bring up the quiet parts, but not too much to preserve the dynamics. It added a bit more noise but I think it's okay.
