Описание: As President and CEO of the Massachusetts Biotechnology Council, Bob’s mission is to advance Massachusetts’ leadership in the life sciences to grow the industry, add value to the healthcare system and improve patient lives.

Bob has a message for his friends on the west coast and a "friendly" challenge to see who has the best biotech. The Biotech Games bring together the biotech community to network, build new relationships and potential collaborations while competing in fun spirited games against their peers. Team building, camaraderie and company pride are among the benefits for biotech companies involved in this unique event. And of course, bragging rights! The winner holds the Cup for a year.

Proceeds of the event benefit FRAXA Research Foundation which supports Fragile X research in labs including MIT, Harvard, UCLA and Stanford. FRAXA also collaborates with several biotech companies. Their mission is to find effective treatments and ultimately a cure for Fragile X, the most common known genetic cause of autism and intellectual disabilities.
