National Rail warns 'MAJOR disruption' expected across UK after Glasgow Central fire

Glasgow Central, Scotland's busiest railway station, is to remain closed all day after the huge blaze in which part of a neighbouring building collapsed last night. Reports of a fire in a vape shop were raised at around 3:45pm on Sunday, March 8.
While nobody has been reported injured, there is to be major disruption across the UK rail network, including affecting trains to and from Manchester.
A warning on the National Rail website reads: "Glasgow Central is closed: major disruption expected until at least the end of the day."
Affected routes are: Avanti West Coast between Glasgow Central and Crewe / Birmingham New Street / London Euston, CrossCountry between Glasgow Central and Edinburgh / Glasgow Central, ScotRail routes to / from / through Glasgow Central, TransPennine Express between Glasgow Central and Liverpool Lime Street / Manchester Airport.
