About a year ago I had an idea to build a lightweight AR weighing right at or under 5 lbs. Even though I received a ton of resistance from my friends I used a polymer lower receiver. At the time the only one I could find was the Plum Crazy lower made in Las Vegas, NV. Now, with all the scare going on, the market has a lot more polymer options. Im not sure but I think New frontier took over the Plum Crazy factory because they are both from Las Vegas. Anyway, the fit and finish of the PC and the NF are about the same, they obviously look polymer or plastic. The OMNI looks amazing. When you look at it from a distance, you can hardly tell its polymer. If you want a good looking and strong polymer lower, the OMNI is the one to get.
