IT'S BEEN TWO YEARS ALREADY!!
I have been practicing the cello nearly every day now for the past two years, renting cellos wherever I travel, and trying to maintain my progress. I've had some really amazing teachers and have been able to play some beautiful cellos, and getting to meet different people from all classical walks of life is a treasure!
My practice has had more structure lately, but the scaffolding is still wonky. I have many hurdles and a few of them are slowing down, cracking down on intonation, and trying to release tension (I tend to get focused on the most bizarre things and then forget what I was working on!). Unraveling my inconsistent and shaky vibrato is also gonna be a focus going into year three. And maybe learning some game soundtracks. Oh my lawd that would be SHWEET.
