We went out for a relaxing day of ice fishing, but Mother Nature had other plans. With the sudden gust of wind and our tent literally lifting off the ice thankfully it did not scratch our car. We had to decide: packup or cook brunch? We chose brunch.
In this video, we battle extreme gusts while trying to keep our gear from flying across the lake.
Between checking the tip-ups and securing the anchors, I cooked up deer sausage , a variety of dried fish , hot noodles and hot coffee for our brunch and shared with our friend - that made the whole struggle worth it. Stick around to see if we actually landed a fish-or if the tent landed or blown off.
