Apologies for the lack of content on the E55 recently, I've been playing catch up uploading videos for this car. Rest assured there is plenty of content coming!
So today we are doing the transmission service on the Mercedes Benz W210 E55 using Fuchs Titan 4134 ATF which is approved fluid for this transmission MB-APPROVAL 236.14. I would strongly recommend you use fluid that is Mercedes Benz approved for the 722.6 5 speed as it is quite sensitive to the fluid.
You also need to have a gasket, filter and dipstick ready, and possibly also the connector sleeve with new gaskets as this item is quite cheap and caused transmission fluid to seep into your transmission control unit if you let it leak for too long.
A very easy service to do at home with just a few basic tools, keep you transmission going for longer. I would suggest you do this every 60-100K km but it depends on age as well.
