The City of Flowers! Atlixco, Puebla (Mexico Travel Vlog)

Описание: During our stay in Puebla, we had to make a day trip out to Atlixco. This Pueblo Magico is known for its cultivation of flowers and is often called "Atlixco de las Flores" meaning Atlixco of the Flowers! Atlixco sits at the base of several volcanoes, one being Mexico's second tallest volcano, Popocatépetl.

Unfortunately, when we were in Atlixco the weather was cloudy and overcast for most of the day so we weren't able to see the volcanoes. Nonetheless, this city did not disappoint! Between all of the murals and painted staircases, delicious food, and colorful narrow streets, our favorite attraction was the swing on Cerro de San Miguel. Cerro de San Miguel is a hill that sits in the middle of Atlixco that offers multiple viewpoints of the city, a stunning view of the mountains and volcanoes (on a clear day), a beautiful church, and a swing that soars over the city!

Getting to Atlixco from Puebla City was very easy! We took the "Oro" bus for only 35 pesos per person (one way). Puebla City has three Oro terminals and this website will help you find the station that is closest to you! http://www.autobusesoro.com.mx
