NAR PHU VALLEY TREK VIA KANG LA PASS: EXPLORE THE HIDDEN VALLEY!

Описание: Nar Phu Valleys has long been called hidden land where the Tibetan Cultural has remain intact.

The locals still herding their yaks and do farming. As we trek to the region in autumn during Dashain the barley harvesting has just been finished, we‘ve seen people in the village gathered together singing while taking out barley seed.

During the trek to Nar Phu Valleys we’ve passed donkey caravan, goat caravan, yak caravan... much more than trekkers on the way.

Trails go through fairy tail pine forests, deep river gorge with some section of trail were carved on cliff face, or going under waterfall.

Many ruined forts were used by Khampa warriors (Tibetan fighter whose fought against China since 1950s) in Jhunum, Chyaku, Kyang on the way to the hidden village of Phu.


The crossing of Kang La (5,320m) is almost 8 hours long but the view of Annapurna is perfect. The descent is much more difficult with incredibly steep section to Ngawal.

It tooks us 6 days for trek, 3 days for getting to trailhead at Koto and getting out at Hongde (1 hour and a half walk from Ngawal)
