Surprise close-up! This squirrel wanted to eat immediately & was ready for her close up (vertical)

Описание: She was fearless this morning as I set out breakfast. It was chilly overnight, so maybe that had something to do with being eager enough to get on the platform without waiting for me to back away. Or, perhaps she is an expectant mother? It is that season, after all.

In any case, I was pleased to be able to stay so close as she ate today. Being so close to her while she ate meant that it is possible to hear her breaking open the sunflower seed shells to eat the nutitious meat inside. I'm normally too far away for this to be picked up by the microphone.

This video is almost 20 minutes in length, and combines two videos shot within a short span of time. It started out quite sunny, but got overcast fairly quickly. I do speak occasionally, particularly in Part One. There is also a good amount of birdsong that can be heard throughout, as well as occasional road noise. You will get a small glimpse into the squirrel feeding process since I kept filming while still juggling both containers (sunflower seeds & shelled peanuts) and refilling the platform.
