After an hour and half rain delay, the White Sox took the field behind recently-signed pitcher Adrian Houser. Houser pitched 6 scoreless innings in his White Sox debut, allowing only two hits.
Joshua Palacios knocked Chase Meidroth in for the lone run of the game in the bottom of the 3rd inning.
Brandon Eisert, Steven Wilson and Cam Booser all came in in relief and held the narrow lead. Jordan Leasure earned the save and struck out 2 Mariners.
The Chicago White Sox defeat the Seattle Mariners, 1-0, at Rate Field in Chicago, Illinois.
