In Washington County we are home to families who contribute to our schools, our workplaces, our farms, and our neighborhoods. When fear rises in our community, it affects all of us. Our goal today with this episode of Community Voices is to bring clarity, consistency, and a collective response from the partners who are directly involved in supporting families during moments of uncertainty.
Many people in our community do not know how these agencies fit together or what each one does. Today we want to change that. We want our communities to walk away understanding where to turn for support, how to separate facts from fear, and how to stay grounded when information is moving fast.
Our purpose is not to create panic. Our purpose is to give our community tools. To help people prepare without fear. To help neighbors support one another safely. And to ensure every family feels seen, protected, and informed.
