本作は『MELTY BLOOD』という世界を、

👤 キャラクター解説 でもなく、
🎮 「戦いが始まる直前の夜」
という一点から独自に再構築した、コンセプトアルバムです。

🌕 月は動かない。
🏙️ 街も大きくは変わらない。

それでも、
🫧 境界は静かに溶け、
⌛ 選択肢が表示される前に、
⚠️ すでに戦いは避けられなくなっている。

🎧 サウンドコンセプト
本作では、
⚡ エレクトロ × 🎸 ロックを基調とした夜景的サウンドを軸に、
▪ 静寂から加速へと移り変わる感覚
▪ 派手さを抑えた緊張感
▪ 余白そのものを音として扱う構成
を重視しています。

月光・静寂から一気に加速、エレクトロ × ロック寄りのサウンド 哀愁・緊張感・戦闘前の高揚 「派手」よりもクールで鋭い導入。

Track2＆Track9
初代『MELTY BLOOD』OP 「Melty Blood」 静かな立ち上がり
→ 一気に疾走、シンセとギターが前面に出る、月姫の“夜の空気”をそのまま音にした感じを表現。闘争前夜・血の気配・静かに狂っていく街をイメージ

Track3＆Track10
『Re ACT』『Act Cadenza』に近いイメージ。よりアグレッシブにテンポが速く、格ゲー色が強化 イントロから緊張感を叩きつける構成。
「始まった瞬間に“戦うゲーム”だとわかる」OPイメージ。

Track4＆Track11
『Actress Again』「Blood Drain -Again-」シリーズ屈指の人気OPをベースに 高速BPM＋切迫感 終末感・決着前夜の空気を演出、夜が深まるほど激しくなる感覚。

Track5＆Track12
『TYPE LUMINA』をベースに世界観を一新。より洗練、スタイリッシュ。それでも夜の冷たさは健在させ「儚さ」「透明感」を強め。

Track6＆Track13
今までの全体をイメージして「夜に始まる、止められない戦いの予感」をコンセプトにアニメOPのように盛り上げるのではなく、 “これから起こる異常を静かに告げる音楽” という立ち位置です。

Track7＆Track14
初代「MELTY BLOOD」の渡辺製作所とTYPE-MOONが共同で発売した同人ソフト版をベースにアニメ的派手さより同人文化由来の空気感重視、インスト主体・夜・疾走感 余白と緊張を大事にする演出。
…個人的にあの理不尽さが好きだった。

This work is a concept album that uniquely reconstructs the world of "MELTY BLOOD"
📖 not as a story
👤 or a character introduction,
🎮 from a single perspective: "The night just before the battle begins."

🌕 The moon doesn't move.
🏙️ The city doesn't change much, either.

And yet,
🫧 Boundaries quietly melt away,
⌛ Before the options appear,
⚠️ battle is already inevitable.

🎧 Sound Concept
This work,
⚡ Electro × 🎸 Rock-based nightscape soundscapes are at the core,
▪ The sense of transition from silence to acceleration
▪ Tension without flashiness
▪ A composition that treats the white space itself as sound.

Track 1 & Track 8
Moonlight and silence suddenly accelerate, with a sound leaning towards electro × rock. A sense of melancholy, tension, and pre-battle excitement. A cooler, sharper introduction than "flashy."

Track 2 & Track 9
Original "MELTY BLOOD" Opening "Melty Blood": A quiet opening
→ A sudden burst of speed, with synths and guitars at the forefront, expressing the "night air" of Tsukihime in sound. Evoking the eve of battle, the presence of blood, and a city quietly going mad.

Track 3 & Track 10
Similar to "Re ACT" and "Act Cadenza." The tempo is more aggressive, with a stronger fighting game feel. The composition builds tension from the very beginning.
The opening image is one where you know it's a fighting game the moment it starts.

Track 4 & Track 11
Based on the most popular openings in the series, "Actress Again" and "Blood Drain -Again-," the high BPM and sense of urgency create a sense of apocalyptic closure and the eve of a showdown, a feeling that grows more intense as the night deepens.

Track 5 & Track 12
Based on "TYPE LUMINA," the worldview has been completely renewed. It's more refined and stylish. The coldness of the night remains intact, with an emphasis on "transience" and "transparency."

Track 6 & Track 13
In keeping with the overall image of previous tracks, the concept is "a premonition of an unstoppable battle beginning at night," and rather than building excitement like an anime opening, this track is positioned as "music that quietly warns of the abnormalities that are about to occur."

Track 7 & Track 14
Based on the doujin software version of the original "MELTY BLOOD" jointly released by Watanabe Productions and TYPE-MOON, this track emphasizes the atmosphere of doujin culture over anime-like flashiness, with a focus on instrumental music, nighttime, and fast-paced elements, emphasizing space and tension.
...I personally loved that sense of absurdity.
