Mini Guide:
We are doing 4 nights, arriving in the evening and then had three full days for activities and our last day we had a morning breakfast , walk in the snow and a lovely lunch before heading back on our transfer.

We stayed with Wilderness at Saariselkä there newest spot with the most beautiful lodges!!! We chose to stay with them again as they offer so many different packages and tailored stays. With so many activities planned for you for whatever you want to do and experience/ how many days for etc.

How we got to Ivalo airport 📍✈️
We pre booked our flights in advance through sky scanner and Finnair so we saved money booking in advance and also gives you the best possible routes/ shorter travel times.

We travelled from Heathrow to Helsinki then Helsinki to Ivalo (we did a change on the way here with connecting flights through Finnair and although we were delayed they second flight waited for us) and from there it’s a 30-40 minute drive to Saariselkä Wilderness Hotel ❄️

On the way home we managed to get a direct 4 hour flight from Ivalo to Gatwick which was amazing!! So definitely worth looking in advance at flights here ✈️
