In this video, I take on Purgatory Cursed Mode in Plants vs Zombies Fusion v3.3.1, showcasing two extremely overpowered late-game synergies, supported by the insane frontline potential of Epic Twin Inferno-nut.

This run demonstrates how synergy modifiers, energy mechanics, and infernal scaling can completely overwhelm cursed waves.

NOTE⚠️
I replayed the stages multiple times until I finally obtained both synergies
(Gatling Cherrybomber & Inferno Squashwood) and
(Epic Gatling Frenzy-shroom & Cherrybomber Drone).

It was extremely exhausting since I had to repeatedly play and record the Shop stages, especially during Fog and Roof Day (boss rounds), just to get the correct synergy rolls.

💥 Synergy 1

🍄‍🟫 Epic Gatling Frenzy-shroom & Cherrybomber Drone

Cherrybomber Drone – Synergy Modifier:

Requires all Gatling Cherrybomber and Gatling Doom modifiers unlocked before appearing in the shop

When Cherrybomber Drone and Epic Gatling Frenzy-shroom are placed on the same tile, they perform coordinated attacks


Energy Mechanics:

Cherrybomber Drone gains +0.05 energy

Epic Gatling Frenzy-shroom gains +0.1 energy

Energy drains at 0.3 per second


Scaling Effects:

For the first 7 full energy points, each point adds +1 extra bullet per coordinated attack

Energy above 7 increases the 8th bullet’s damage by
×(1 + excess energy points)


This synergy excels at ramping DPS, making it lethal against high-HP cursed zombies.

🔥 Gatling Cherrybomber & Inferno Squashwood

Inferno Squashwood – Synergy Modifier:

Requires all Gatling Cherrybomber and Inferno Squashwood modifiers unlocked

Available in the shop for 15,000


Effects:

Gatling Cherrybomber fires evenly across three lanes

Upper and lower projectiles follow sine & cosine trajectories, covering wide areas

If no space is available to spawn a Chilli Squash, Inferno Squashwood triggers a full-field Jalapeño effect


This combo provides screen-wide explosive pressure and emergency wave clearing.

Special Traits:

Promotion of Twin Inferno-nut, subspecies of Epic Twin Solar-nut

HP can exceed Toughness with no upper limit

Excess HP decays at 10% of total HP every 3 seconds


Defensive & Infernal Mechanics:

When taking non-crushing damage, consumes 15 Sun to:

Negate the damage

Gain +50 HP

Gain +2 Infernal charges


Gains +10 Infernal charges when affected by Jalapeño (including initial placement)


Active Ability:

Click to spend 500 HP to gain +10 Infernal charges and spawn 1 Giant Inferno-nut in front

Rolls 1 second after the last click

Additional clicks before rolling increase size, damage, and knockback


Giant Inferno-nut Damage (per 0.02s):

1 tap: 600

2 taps: 1200

3 taps: 1644

Deals ×2 damage to Enflamed zombies


Auto-Summon:

At 100 Infernal charges, automatically consumes them to summon a
Giant Inferno-nut upgraded 5 times


Fusion Formula:
🌻 Sunflower ⇄ Jalapeño

Epic Twin Inferno-nut acts as an unkillable wall + burst generator, perfectly supporting both overpowered synergies.
