International Patent Application - Don't File

Описание: International patent applications via the PCT (patent cooperation treaty) are not always a good idea, unless you have a large budget. I'm a patent lawyer and registered patent agent and I created this video to explain what a PCT application is, how they are filed and why you might not want to file one because it will consume your entire budget. There are less expensive options in my opinion, like filing in only a few key countries, like the United States, Canada, the UK, Germany, Japan, etc. It's often better to file a few national applications then filing a PCT application designating multiple countries.
