Our country style half apron sewing pattern is almost too nice to wear just in the kitchen. Try it in all sorts of fabric and become an apron enthusiast. It is perfect for an afternoon of sewing. Make up a batch for your Christmas Bazaar or Fete. Team up with oven gloves and kitchen towels and it makes a super present or craft project. Skill Level:
This is another pattern for adventurous beginners! My video tutorials and easy to follow written instructions go through step by step everything you need to know, from inserting snaps and buttons to getting a beautifully finished collar.

Fabric:
The free half apron pattern works well with most medium weight linen or cotton fabrics. I also love using décor or curtain fabric. It is heavy and often has the cutest prints.

Marina Brumpton is a traditionally trained seamstress and teacher of Textiles and Technology. She makes sewing for girls so much fun with her easy sewing tutorials. If you want to learn how to sew, this sewing project is a good way to start.
