Playing bass parts with your thumb while play rhythm and lead parts with you other fingers is REALLY tricky! But after teaching myself, and 15 years of teaching it to others, I've boiled the principles of it down to a science!
This video is the second in a series, exercises 6-10, designed to gradually take you from no experience to thumb independence, which is the foundation of Delta Blues, Piedmont Blues, Hill Country Blues, and Travis Picking!
