Badminton - Backhand Cross-Court Net Shot (net drop)

Описание: This an advanced shot for players who have a strong grasp of the fundamentals. The Backhand Cross-Court Net is not a shot that is played often in top level badminton. It is, however, extremely useful on the rare occasion when a player is in position to take control over the net and finds the opponent’s cross-court net area open. This shot has several advantages in that the opponent has to deal with a laterally moving shuttle close to the net, thereby making a net shot and lift more difficult to control. Additionally, if executed perfectly, it can deceive the opponent into thinking you are going to play a straight shot, when in fact the plan is to move it cross-court. This of course causes confusion in the opponent.
