This is the simplest way to paint a weathered rusty old shell for your RC car. Using a FTX Ravine shell I share my quick and simple painting guide for you to use on your RC cars.
The FTX Ravine is a great car but I wanted my car to look more realistic and opted for the rusty old look.
In this video I talk you through the steps that will help you create amazing shells. The video includes Timelapses of the process.. I have tried to keep it as simple as possible and I have not included any challenging painting techniques. I plan to create a follow up video with some more advance techniques.
This is not how I paint my RC race shells but for RC rock crawlers and scalers this can really change the appearance of the car and it will look amazing out on the trails.
