This is the UNCUT version of the NSN-14 Lishi beginner tutorial. Nothing cleaned up, nothing edited out. You’ll see real workflow, small mistakes, corrections, and natural pauses—because that’s how you actually learn this stuff.
🔹
🔹 If you’re brand new to the NSN-14 Lishi (commonly used on Nissan door locks), this video focuses on feel, feedback, and control, not rushing the lock or forcing sets.
🔹
🔹 Important clarification (dial movement):
🔹 When I talk about moving the dial one increment, I mean UPWARD movement — for example from 3 to 4, not 4 to 3. That upward movement confirms a proper set. If it doesn’t move cleanly or stops responding, don’t force it—move on and come back later.
🔹
🔹 What this uncut lesson teaches beginners:
🔹 Very light tension is critical. Too much tension kills feedback and causes oversets.
🔹 Read every position individually. Some are ready to set, some aren’t—don’t fight the soft ones.
🔹 Scan the lock. If one position isn’t responding correctly, leave it alone and check the next one.
🔹 Understand travel. A correct set gives you clean movement by one increment. Anything else is information—listen to it.
🔹 Recognize oversets early. If a position suddenly feels dead or blocked, you likely went too far. Back off, reset your approach, and keep scanning.
🔹
🔹 This video is meant to show real learning, not a polished highlight reel. Mistakes are part of the process, and seeing them helps beginners understand why things go wrong—not just what works when everything is perfect.
🔹
🔹 For legal locksmith training and practice only. Always verify ownership and permission before performing any entry work.
🔹
🔹 If you want more beginner-focused, slow, real-world Lishi training, leave a comment with what tool or lock you’re learning next.
