It is a work before the establishment of the style of Impressionism, and the original composition was for piano four-handed briquetting.
Because the orchestral arrangement of Paul Henri Busser (1872~1973) was very successful, it is almost played as an orchestral or violin piece today.
It consists of 「On a small boat, En bateau」, 「Procession, Cortège」, 「Minuet, Menuet」, and 「Ballet」, all of which are light and full of noble feelings.
A small suite for two pianos, consisting of four pieces, was composed around 1888.

「Procession, Cortège」 A procession that moves quietly. A refreshing step through the flowers while stepping on the fallen leaves.
「Minuet, Menuet」 People dance with light, thin silk clothes fluttering in the wind according to the pleasant seaweed.
「Ballet」 The impression of a splendid festival night is very new, and the tone of passion is dissipated.
