Mohbad appeared to be an introvert and a man of a few words but his lingering message in his own words, were "based on love..." Afrobeats and Amapiano are the genre that have been chart topping the international music scene, lately. They have been described as "good vibes' spreading love and peace. Included in this video are SKALES, NQOBILÉ, Stonebwoy and KHiiD, expressing this sentiment of love and peace.
We first met Mohbad at the Ballers Exhibition Center (BEC) Arena in Manchester - UK during the One Africa Tour - 'The Afrobeats Legends' Genz Vs OG's Vol 1 concert on August 11th 2023. The next day the show was in Birmingham. It was during the final leg in London at KOKO concert venue on Camden High St that Harare Stay Awake managed to get a brief sit down with the late artist born Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba.
