Friday Night Funkin' (also known as Friday Night Funkin': The Full Ass Game) is an upcoming rhythm video game developed by Funkin' Crew Inc. and released on Newgrounds in 2020. The game is developed by a small group called The Funkin' Crew Inc., which consists primarily of Cameron "ninjamuffin99" Taylor, David "PhantomArcade" Brown, Isaac "Kawai Sprite" Garcia, and evilsk8r. The game is also open-source. It shares some gameplay features with Dance Dance Revolution, PaRappa the Rapper, and the "Dance Contest" minigame from Club Penguin, and borrows aesthetic influences from Flash games. The game has been credited with driving users back to Newgrounds, a site that rose in popularity in the early 2000s.

TMK (otherwise known as Too Much Kirby,) is a web-series created by Maple Riot that has been running since March 20th, 2022, to 2023. The series stars the main protagonist, Donny Smith, and multiple antagonists throughout the series, most notably, TMK.EXE. The series is based on a 1996 Kirby Super Star commercial, which features a little boy who was diagnosed with "Too Much Kirby" after he had played Kirby Super Star on the Super Nintendo for too long. Though, the series has a much darker effect compared to what happens in the commercial.

The second main installment in the Kirby series, it is best known for being the first game in the series to feature Copy Abilities, which are now synonymous with Kirby and the Kirby franchise, making this game at the very least as influential as Kirby's Dream Land in shaping successive games in the decades to come.
