In a bid to combat wildlife trafficking and access and monitor wildlife crime data, the Kerala Forest and Wildlife Department in collaboration with Wildlife Trust of India (WTI) initiated the development of this state-of-the-art software with the support of NTT DATA, a digital business and IT services leader.
Hostile Activity Watch Kernel (HAWK) is a cloud-based information Management System designed to manage interlinked databases of wildlife crime, wildlife criminals, and wildlife mortality, and help officials analyse the information and develop actionable intelligence to prevent wildlife crimes. and curb Illegal Wildlife Trade (IWT).
