Описание: Former Liberian President Charles Taylor now claims that witnesses were paid and coerced by the prosecutor of the special court on Sierra Leone, to adduce false evidence against him. Taylor also accused the prosecutor of threatening the witnesses if they refused to co-operate. The former Liberian president was last month found guilty of being responsible for crimes committed by rebels in Sierra Leone, during the country's civil war. Charity Waweru has that report
