After washing my Honda CB350 at home using a pressure washer, I suddenly faced a scary situation — both the Engine Check Light and ABS Light turned ON.
In this video, I explain exactly what went wrong, what mistakes to avoid while bike washing, and how the issue was solved without any major repair.
What happened:
Bike was washed using pressure washer (spray mode)
Chain cleaned with Motul Chain Cleaner & Lubed
Silicone spray applied near key slots and engine area
After the wash, Engine & ABS lights stayed ON
How we fixed it:
Allowed the bike to dry completely
Checked ABS sensor & wiring for moisture
Rode the bike gently for a few kilometers
The lights turned off automatically once moisture cleared
⚠️ Lesson learned:
Avoid spraying high-pressure water near sensors, wiring, ECU, ABS ring, and electrical components.
