So we tried it again. Last year we ended the ride only after 50 out of 205 miles due to a hurt hand, a hurt bike, and left with hurt egos. This year, I joined the Broken Enduro crew again and took another swing at it. Feeling better prepared and better practiced, I began this event with optimism. Unfortunately, I did not get to finish. But I learned a new respect for those that do, and I learned a few changes for next time.
