FreeBSD Tips 8 Radeon HD 6450 Another BSD Lesson in The Graphics Department

Описание: Before You begin the Installation of FreeBSD it's a good idea to know your GPU. Before you enable services find out what graphics driver you will need to include in the /etc/rc.conf directory.
Here is 4 ways to find out and I am sure there are more:
1..crack the case & physically inspect your board,
2..check specs on line with the manufacturer,
3..to list devices & vendors after base install run: pciconf -vl,
4..install and run neofetch :D my favorite.

& take a look to see if there are any important warnings like AMD vs. UEFI..In my case I had to edit boot/loader.conf and add the following line:
hw.syscons.disable="1"
