For this cover, I built the full instrumental track using Suno AI Studio. I arranged the piano, mandolin, drums, horns, guitars, and vocals inside Suno, but intentionally left out the low end so I could record my own bass performance.

After exporting the master track from Suno, I brought everything into Ableton. Using my Scarlett interface and my Harley Benton bass, I recorded my bassline and an original bass solo directly into Ableton. I mixed and mastered the final audio there as well.

I also filmed myself playing the bass part, but the camera audio was muted since all the real sound was captured through Ableton. Once the audio was finished, I used Clipchamp to sync the video of me playing with the final track. I also added a custom logo created with Microsoft Copilot to match the vibe of the song.

After piecing everything together in Clipchamp and exporting the final project… this is the finished product you’re watching now.
