ABOUT

Mount Slatra is an unsigned, active thrash metal band from Birmingham, UK, known for their fierce live shows and contributions to the local metal scene. They released their debut EP Divine in Ruin in September 2025 to positive reviews. Critics noted the EP “deliver[s] a reminder of why the genre mattered in the first place” by fusing “classic speed” with fresh themes, with one review describing it as a “mosh pit incitement” filled with aggressive riffage and an “unhinged nature of the vocal performance.” The band is currently working on a full-length album.
