And while it's true that women don't die of stress incontinence, it can have a huge impact on quality of life. Women may stop doing activities that they love. They may change the types of clothes they wear to hide bulky pads or adult diapers. They may become more isolated out of embarrassment. They may feel less comfortable engaging in intimacy.
